Students will study the score of Berlioz' Symphonie Fantastique with special emphasis paid to tempo and expression markings, scale degree designations in foreign languages, and use of transposing instruments.

Weeks 3-8 Student presentations

Students will offer presentations on classical and non-classical musical subjects.

Weeks 9-10

Students will be preparing for juries and recitals, and will be making final preparations of their journals.
