Here is an overview of our studies for the 4th Quarter. We will make every attempt to complete these tasks, but the 4th Quarter contains many interruptions and activities.
1. Finish Impressionism, Griffes
2. Finish Baroque, Monteverdi, Lully, Rameau
3. Discuss 20th Century, Prokofiev, Bartok, Stockhausen, and Cage.
We will have three quizzes that correspond to these three units.
We will also continue with music theory work in our workbooks, and will have listening and ear training activities.
After the piano trip we're taking in May, students will again do indepent projects that they will present to the class.
