8/12/09- Welcome back to DSA!! If you want to get ahead, pull up the syllabus from the link below, sign it and bring the signature page only to me, or you may have your parent/guardian send me an e-mail stating that you have read this and understand the syllabus.  The syllabus explains what we will be doing in Life Science for 2009/2010. It also has a  small list of school supplies, safety and classroom rules, etc.

We will start with Scientific Method. Homework assignments and classwork will be posted in the classroom and on Infinite Campus.

We will not have time to complete a hands on activity for the body system project, and goups may turn in one paper, but the rest needs to completed.

 

 

We will be having a speaker coming on November 13th, teaching about the science behind organ donation and transplants.  It is affiliated with the Denver Museum of Nature and Science's Hall of Life. I will post an exclusion form on the website soon.  if you do not want your child to participate in this please sign the form and send it to school with your student by 11/9/09.
