Intro to Literature and Composition updated 11/13/09
1st 3 weeks of new quarter, students have had in-class assignments that turned into homework if not completed by end of class. Please check IC-parent portal for specifics of missing assignments. Tell students to make an appointment if they do not understand an assignment.

Interview Narratives were collected on 10/9. Any student not turning in one will be given a "missing" in Infinite Campus. Students may turn in on Monday, 10/12 by 3pm for credit.
Final Draft of Interview Narative Due Friday 10/9
All make-up work due Friday 10/9 (Check IC to for missing assignments)
We reviewed the expectations for the narrative interview essay by looking at the rubric again as well as talking specifics of essay:
1. Good introduction
1 or 2 paragraphs describing general high school experience
1 or 2 or 3 paragraphs describing Coming of Age Incident(s)
Closing/Summary
Word choice, imagery and 2 or 3 direct quotes need to be part of the essay. We have gone over the punctuation for direct quotes.
