2007-08 Visitation Days:

Due to the speed in which our visitation days have filled up, we would like to offer a few other suggestions:
1. Please come to a show.
2.Grade 8 or higher, students can make an appointment to shadow another student.
DSA Visitation Days are designed for individual students and their parents or small groups accompanied by an adult who are considering application to DSA. Those wishing to attend Visitation Days are asked to call and make reservations
through Ellen Zachary in the main office (720-424-1700). You can also
make a reservation by sending an email message to:
herma_zachary@dpsk12.org. A maximum of 50 visitors are accepted each visitation day. Upon arriving, visitors report to the Visitation Day table in the main lobby. They are given a schedule to follow that corresponds with their prospective art major and grade level. Applications, art major, and general school information can be picked up as well. Administration is available for a Question & Answer session about the DSA program in the Concert Hall at 9:00 am.
Visitors are asked to be as unobtrusive as possible when going into the classroom setting and not interrupt instruction with questions to the teacher. Classes are in session from 7:30 am to 2:45 pm and visitors are able to stay for however long they desire on prescribed Visitation Days.
Individual “shadowing“ opportunities outside of visitation days are also available to those in 8th - 12th grade and are coordinated through our Student Advisor, Mr. Andre Shaw, at 720-424-1717.
