GRADES
The 3rd Quarter ended on March 5; the 4th Quarter ends on May 30. Depending on the student's major teacher, these grades will combine (Styron) or
average (Shively) in order to
determine the semester grade.
Students
that receive a "C" or lower in their major still have a chance to
improve their grade during the next quarter. Likewise, academically, students must maintain a
minimum 2.25 GPA (grade point average) each semester . The semester
grade, not the quarter grade,
determines probationary status. If a student is placed on probation
(arts and/or academic), they will have another full semester to improve
their grades.
Please do not hesitate to contact either one of the directors for
further clarification. Our contact information is listed in the column
to the left at the top of this page. We are happy to make appointments
or conferences with parents or students during our planning period
(8:00 - 9:00 am daily) or after school.
Please make appointments in ADVANCE
as we have heavily scheduled days at DSA.
Thank you for your understanding.
