Coordinates and creates opportunities outside of
school for VA students. Includes shows off campus,
possible commissions and proposal for public art projects.

Assists with matting, framing and display of student work for school shows, contests and off-campus
exhibitions.
Gallery Visit Committee: Beth Hawkins, beth@bhawkins.com
Coordinates group gallery visits and assists individual students with transportation to galleries for reviews

Seeks to provide
funds to facilitate growth and maintenance of the VA program.
Helps identify
financial needs in the department and funding sources for them. Develops long range plans for
scholarship and travel funding. Searches for grant writing opportunities and serves as liaison
for grant writers
Potluck and Social Committee: Michelle McLeod, mcleodrm@msn.com
Organizes quarter show potlucks, family picnics and new family welcome. Helps coordinate mentor
program for new VA students.
Annual VA Banquet: Kyrie Biddle (2007 chair), kyrielynn@comcast.net
Organizes and coordinates year end dinner and awards ceremony for all VA students.
