X – Level IMP 2 Description and Requirements
X-Level classes are designed to enrich students’ knowledge and
understanding of the course content. To gain this enrichment,
students are required to complete certain assignments in addition to
those given as part of the regular coursework. The additional
assignments are listed below under their corresponding unit title.
X-level classes are graded on a different scale than regular classes.
Teacher approval and Parent approval is required for enrollment in
X-level Classes. Once approval is received, students will be able
to opt in or out of the X-level class until the end of the drop-add
period. Once the drop-add period has ended, students who
have enrolled in X-level IMP 2 will remain in X-level IMP 2 for the
semester. At the end of the semester, students may opt in or out
of the X-level class. Students who are struggling with the X-level
coursework may be advised by their teachers to consider opting out of
the X-level class.
Grading Scale:
93—100 A
84 – 92 B
77 – 83 C
70 – 76 D
69 or less F
