Parent Permission Form


Dear Parents:

Due to the nature of artistic exploration in our Aesthetics course, we will at times be viewing/listening to material which could be considered adult content.  The content we will be viewing may consist of, but is not limited to:

•    Visual art pieces which may contain nudity
•    Poetry, audio clips, etc. which may contain moderate profanity
•    R rated films or film clips

I am requesting permission to show your child such content in order to maximize his/her educational experience in Aesthetics, which is a course that requires one to examine art from a mature, comprehensive, well-informed perspective.  I assure you that I will never present any material where the educational value doesn’t outweigh its adult content.

All students, even those over 17, must have this signed in order to participate in all activities included in the Aesthetics course.
