annual collaboration in the Dance Studio Theater. This concert will
feature the Junior Class Dance Project, The Mother Goose Suite by
Maurice Ravel and Night on Bald Mountain by Rimsky-Korsikov. This
exciting duo department show begins at 7:00 PM. Tickets are still

ACT is this Wednesday (April 23rd) for all juniors. Juniors will meet
in front of the Library at 7:35 and walk across to the Polis Auditorium

Congratulations
to A.J. Tapia, Ryan Foo, Sarah Reichardt and Angela Breitholtz for a
wonderful speech and debate tournament. These people spent anywhere
from 5 to 17 hours competing this past weekend in the national
qualifier tournament. Ryan and AJ went 5 rounds and finished in the
top six teams putting them 4th alternate for nationals. Sarah also
went 5 rounds placing her in the top 12 competitors in drama. Thanks
everybody for a great season.

Congratulations
to Angela Brietholtz and Sarah Reichardt. They were one of 42 teams
out of about 240 to compete at the state speech and debate tournament
Friday and Saturday of last week. DSA should thank and appreciate
these girls who worked all year and only missed making semi-finals by 1
rank point. This means they were in the top 15 to 20 teams in the
state.

last Saturday. This pair tied for first place with Cherry Creek and
will go on to compete at the state tournament in two weeks. These two
were completely self coached on their cutting and have been working
hard all year. We should be very proud of them.
