Spring Break Trip to Costa Rica
At the trip meeting on October 20th, parents met with Mr. James Smith of Encore Tours and together decided on a Spring Break trip to Costa Rica. This spring break trip looks very exciting and should be a wonderful cultural experience for our orchestra majors. There is still time to get registered. Just visit Encore Tours at www.encoretours.com and log in were it says register to get signed up for the trip. A deposit of $150.00 is due immediately and will be reimbursed if there aren't enough participants. If you are holding a voucher from last year, this can be used towards one of the subsequent payments. All you need to do to register is have the trip number which is #75705 and director name - Allwein. If you have not yet seen the itinerary, please contact Mrs. Allwein for a copy. There are still space available for the trip! The last day to add for the trip is December 25th. You may use your voucher on the December 7th payment.

- Middle School Practice records for 11/8-11/14/2009 are due November 16th, 2009.
- "Electrify Your Strings" is this week!!! All students signed up for the Mark Wood workshop will rehearse all day with Mark on Tuesday, November 17th followed by an evening concert beginning at 7:00 PM

Dollar-A-Day: Dollar-A-Day funds are being used to support 2009 Spring sectionals instruction for Violin 1, Violin 2, Viola, Cello, Bass for ALL students in both Sinfonia and Advanced Symphony.
