All piano students (HS Major, Piano Skills, HS Major) are required to have a set of headphones, ear buds, or similar personal listening equipment. The Piano Department will provide adapters for these items.
All students are required to have their journals (MS) or paper for taking notes in class (HS). All students are required to have a writing utensil during class.
All Piano Majors must have a copy of their recital music available at all times. This music should ALWAYS be placed on the piano music rack so we can address any problems quickly. Please remember that fair use laws indicate that a student should have purchased a copy of this music for personal use.
There will be occasional equipment checks to ensure that students are following this requirement with a classroom point value assigned (usually 10 points).
