Hello DSA Community!
Just a few updates for a very quick welcome to Fall:
- Please submit your
Senior Photo to the box in the main office by Friday, Oct. 2nd.
Photo should be standard wallet sized (2.5x3.5 inches), in color or black and white. You may also submit a high-quality jpeg image on CD, or email them to dsayearbook@gmail.com. ; Senior quotes should be 35 words or less and may not contain profanity. See Ms. McGrath in B213 if you have any questions! - The following is a message from the Librarian Ms. Ulibarri:
All of our 22 Library
computer stools have torn upholstery. I have purchased new upholstery fabric to
recover them. I need help with this. I have a power screw driver to take out
four screws on each stool. The old fabric needs to be cut off and a new 24’by
25” piece of fabric stapled onto the wood and foam frame. It is not a difficult
task, just time consuming. I will have the fabric squares cut. I need someone
who has an electric staple gun and knows how to use it. I can purchase one if I
get more than one volunteer. Your help is greatly appreciated. The stools are
getting to a point where they can’t be used. Please contact Ms. Ulibarri at 720-424-1734 if you have
any free time to help save our Library furniture.
- Please see the Counseling Page for a list of visits by Colleges this Fall. These visits are for Juniors and Seniors only.
- Our first early release day is scheduled for Friday October 16th. Students will be dismissed from school at 11:39am.
- Parent-teacher Conferences are coming up next month (October 19th and 20th) from 4-8pm. Appointments will be made directly with teachers and they will begin taking appointments on Monday October 12th.
