Hello DSA Community
Welcome to Fall in Colorado, it snowed yesterday and is sunny today. To the Updates
· Parent/Teacher Conferences will be on October 19th and 20th from 3-7pm. Please scheduled appointments directly with teachers via email or phone. The scheduling window will be from Monday the 12th through Friday the 16th. Teachers will be located in the Following areas in the school:
o Middle School teachers will be located outside of their respective class room areas (6th grade outside D-107, 7th grade outside B-117 and 8th grade outside B-104) Ms. Threet will be in the commons.
o High School teachers will be located in the commons area.
o Arts teachers will be located in the Library.
· The first early release day will be next Friday, October 16th. School will end at 11:29. A sack lunch will be available.
· There will be a Denver Board of Education Candidate forum at Westerly Creek Elementary School (8800 East 28th Ave. Denver). Candidates from District 4 as well as the At-Large positions will be present for questions. If you would like to submit a question please contact info@westerlycreek.com
· The Fall 2009 Regional Meeting will be next Tuesday (October 13th) at Bruce Randolph MS. Please see the attached flyer or the Denver Public Schools Communication Office webpage for more information and additional sites.
· The first nine-week grading period will close on Wednesday October 14th. Teachers will have grades posted by Thursday October 15th at 3pm. Hard copies of report cards will be available at Parent/Teacher conferences on the 19th and 20th and then distributed to students on Thursday the 22nd.
