Up next THIS WEEK: The Junior Project, a collaboration between the DSA Dance and Orchestra departments' junior classes, featuring student choreography of the Mother Goose Suite by Ravel and solo performances by the juniors. Shows are Thursday, May 8th and Friday, May 9th at 7pm in the Dance Studio. General admission seats are now on sale. Seating is limited.
The Dance Family Organization is currently working to better understand implications of the proposed new schedule on the dance department. A link to a new DFO Current Issues page has been added to the website. Check there for the latest information, including a DFO Open Letter to the DSA and DPS administrations advocating for a deferral of any new schedule implementation.
Congratulations to the directors, guest artists/choreographers, and stellar DSA dancers on the wonderful "Tapestry" spring dance concert; to all the concessions donations and show-related volunteers; and, last but not least, to all the silent auction volunteers, donors, and bidders!
Tapestry Spring Concert Videos are available to order through the Video Cinema department. Contact ed_glassman@dpsk12.org to place an order.
