Letter from Mr. Kohut

101Class of 2014…

The entire DSA Community is very proud of the Class of 2014 and they have good reason to be proud! This year’s DSA seniors had a 100% On-Time Graduation Rate! 100% of the DSA seniors applied and were accepted into a post-secondary school! And $17,286,304.00 was offered to DSA seniors in scholarship and grant awards! Amazing! DSA truly is a special place that brings out the best in students! We hope everyone in the Class of 2014 will stay in touch, keeping us posted of where you are and what amazing things you are doing! Come back to visit when you are in town and share your love of the arts everywhere you go!

Congratulations Class of 2014!!!

DSA families please enjoy your summer, rest and rejuvenate. I am excited about two great activities that will kick-off the 2014-2015 school year. The opening of our All-School Musical “Hairspray” will kick-off our 2014-2015 season with our annual fundraising Gala on Saturday, September 20, 2014. Denver School of the Arts will be hosting the Arts Schools Network Conference in Denver, October 22nd – 25th. Mark your calendars now for a special performance of three arts schools – Denver School of the Arts, Orange County School of the Arts, and Duke Ellington School of the Arts at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House on Thursday, October 23rd at 7:30 pm. This will be a performance that you will not want to miss. It is also important to mark your calendars now for a non-DSA School Day on Friday, October 24th as we host this national conference on the DSA campus.

This is a reminder to our families that registration will take place on the following days from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm:

August 12th- 11th and 12th grade
August 13th – 9th and 10th grade
August 14th- 7th and 8th grade
August 15th – 6th grade

Have a wonderful summer and we will see you in August!!
