![]() | Kevin Adams Assistant Principal | Hello, my name is Kevin Adams, and I am excited to join the DSA community as an Assistant Principal. The 2025-2026 school year marks my 20th year with Denver Public Schools and my third year in the role of Assistant Principal. In 2023, I transitioned from the classroom after teaching Social Studies for 17 years. I began my teaching career at Morey Middle School and moved to the Denver Center for International Studies at Baker in 2012. I am a husband and father of two. My oldest daughter is starting her freshman year at DU this year, while my son is a senior at George Washington High School. In my free time, I enjoy music and play guitar, as well as working in my garden, traveling, and snowboarding. I am committed to supporting the DSA community and its students this year. |
![]() | Morgan Babbel Assistant Principal | I thoroughly enjoy my career as a leader, and continue to be inspired by the minds of our students and staff. I am so excited to be at DSA! I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in both Mathematics and Art from Metropolitan State University of Denver. I earned my Master's in Cultural and Linguistic Diversity from the University of Colorado Denver, as well as a Masters in Math with an emphasis in Teaching and Learning from Colorado State University. It is safe to say that I love to learn. I am a Colorado native. I identify equally as a mathematician, artist, and home cook. My favorite mediums are painting and drawing (mixed media is my fav). I love to connect through food and have found a lot of joy cooking and baking for my family. When I am not in school, I love being outside hiking, paddle boarding, and camping. However, the occasional pajama day while binge watching movies and sitcoms is also welcomed. |
![]() | Anna Conley Assistant Principal | This is my 7th year at Denver School of the Arts and my 25th year in public education. If DSA had been around when I was in school, I would have been an Orchestra Major - I began playing the violin when I was 11 years old. Before AP-ing, I taught middle and high school English and social studies. I have a BA in English (University of Northern Colorado - Go Bears!) and an MA in Curriculum & Instruction (University of Colorado-Denver). Welcoming students into the building at the start of the school day is one of my favorite things. |
![]() | Syeta Hamilton Dean of Culture | I'm the middle and high school dean of culture with 20 years of experience working in the public and private sector. I studied Criminal Justice at Metropolitan State University of Denver. I have a masters degree in school counseling from the University of Phoenix. I love helping students and families feel welcomed in our school. During my free time I love to bake and play basketball. |
