Ella truly listens to people and cares about how they’re feeling. One day in Spanish class, she asked me how I was doing, and I said I was busy with a lot of work. Because she’s a very empathetic and kind person, she took it upon herself to make me a “cheer up” gift — a personalized decorative sign that says “Todos son bienvenidos aquí/Everyone is welcome here” and write me a motivational note. What a wonderful human Ella is!
